TOUR PROGRAM:

DAY 1 | MARMARIS – IZMIR AIRPORT TRANSFER – IZMIR–ELAZIĞ FLIGHT – HARPUT – PERTEK – MUNZUR – TUNCELI

We meet our valued guests on Sunday night, 03 May 2026, at 23:45 at Eşref Girginç Park (opposite LC Waikiki). After meeting with our representative, we depart for İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport in our comfortable vehicle.

After completing check-in and baggage procedures at the airport, we begin our journey with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ9142, departing at 05:55 on a direct İzmir–Elazığ flight. Following an approximately 1 hour and 55 minute flight, we arrive in Elazığ at 07:50.

After arrival, we take a breakfast break and start exploring the ancient civilizations of Anatolia. Our first stop is the mesmerizing Hazar Lake with its deep blue scenery. Then we head up to Harput, the historical heart of Elazığ. We see Harput Castle, which dominates the region, and visit Harput Grand Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Anatolia.

According to the program flow, we panoramically see Şefik Gül Culture House. Depending on time and availability, we visit Arab Baba Masjid and Tomb and Mansur Baba Tomb.

During our ferry crossing, we panoramically view the magnificent Pertek Castle rising from the middle of the lake.

We proceed towards Tunceli and give free time at Munzur River and Munzur Springs, located in the heart of nature. With its crystal-clear waters and peaceful atmosphere, this region offers one of the most impressive moments of the tour.

Afterwards, we visit Tunceli Cemevi (one of the largest cemevis in Turkey), which holds an important place in the cultural and spiritual life of Tunceli. In this special place where the Alevi-Bektashi tradition is preserved, we get to know the region’s belief culture closely and explore its architectural structure and social function with guidance. Depending on availability, there is an opportunity to participate in a dede conversation. We conclude our program with this visit. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in Tunceli. (TUNCELI ACCOMMODATION) 4★ Grand Şaroğlu Hotel

DAY 2 | TUNCELI – APÇAĞA – KEBAN – KEMALIYE – DARK CANYON

After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey through the layers of Anatolian civilizations.

First, we panoramically see Apçağa Village, which inspired the verses of Ahmet Kutsi Tecer. At this place where the lines “There is a village far away…” come to life, we feel the tranquility and deep-rooted life culture of Anatolia.

Then we continue our journey accompanied by the views of Keban Dam Lake, one of Turkey’s major energy investments. This geography shaped by the Euphrates River once again shows us why civilizations were born on these lands.

Next, we turn our route to Kemaliye, one of the most unique settlements of Eastern Anatolia. With its stone and wooden houses that are among the finest examples of Ottoman civil architecture, narrow streets, and distinctive atmosphere, Kemaliye is like a living open-air museum. Here we take walks, photo breaks, and discover the soul of this elegant town.

We arrive at Dark Canyon, one of the most impressive points of the day. Considered among the world’s notable canyons and shaped by the Euphrates over centuries, this massive natural formation allows us to feel the power of Anatolia. Guests who wish may join an optional boat tour or experience canyon activities.

Today, we experience a day where nature and history intertwine, feeling more closely why civilizations took root in this geography.

Dinner and overnight stay are at our hotel in Kemaliye. (KEMALIYE ACCOMMODATION) – Kemaliye Bozkurt Hotel

DAY 3 | KEMALIYE – DIVRIĞI – KANGAL – SIVAS

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for one of the most special stops on Anatolia’s civilization journey.

Our first stop is the unique masterpiece Divriği Great Mosque and Darüşşifa, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 13th century, this structure is regarded as the pinnacle of Seljuk stone craftsmanship. The unique motifs and details on its monumental portals most powerfully demonstrate why Anatolia is called the “cradle of civilizations.” We explore this extraordinary work with guided narration.

Then we have free time in Divriği Center, taking short walks in the historical atmosphere and closely feeling the local texture of the region.

Next, we visit the Kangal Dog Breeding Center, where the world-famous Anatolian shepherd dogs are raised. Known for their loyalty and strength, Kangal dogs welcome us as one of the living symbols of this region’s cultural heritage.

Afterwards, we arrive in Sivas. Our civilization journey continues in this city, where Seljuk and Republican history intersect. We visit the Sivas Congress Building, one of the turning points of the National Struggle (interior visit if open). Then we see Buruciye Madrasah reflecting the magnificence of Seljuk architecture, the elegant stone craftsmanship of Gök Madrasah, and the iconic Çifte Minareli Madrasah, one of the city’s symbols.

Today, we experience Anatolia’s heritage of knowledge, art, and independence struggle together. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in Sivas. (SIVAS ACCOMMODATION) – Savona Hotel

DAY 4 | SIVAS – KAYSERI – IZMIR FLIGHT – MARMARIS TRANSFER

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Kayseri, one of Anatolia’s ancient trade and cultural centers.

We begin our walk in Kayseri Center, which bears the traces of the Seljuks. Preserving its vitality for centuries with its historical texture and trade tradition, this city reflects the productive spirit of Anatolia.

We panoramically see Kayseri High School, a meaningful symbol of our Republican history, remembered for its students who went to the фронt during the National Struggle period. Then we walk among Kayseri Houses, known for their stone craftsmanship and architectural elegance, and closely get to know the city’s traditional civil architecture. We see Döner Kümbet, one of the important Seljuk-era mausoleums, which stands out as a unique example of Turkish-Islamic art in Anatolia with its cylindrical form and detailed stone decorations.

Afterwards, we have free time at Kayseri Covered Bazaar. Guests who wish may shop for local products or taste the flavors of Kayseri cuisine.

In the evening, we transfer to Kayseri Airport. We begin our return journey with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ9239, departing at 22:50 on a direct Kayseri–İzmir flight. After arrival in İzmir at 00:25, we head towards Marmaris with our waiting vehicle.

After four days shared together, we bid farewell to our valued guests at the meeting points, hoping to meet again in another Koral Tourism organization.
