TOUR PROGRAM

DAY 1: MARMARIS – AYVALIK – LESVOS ISLAND – CITY CENTER – GERA – AGIASOS – HOTEL

We meet you, our valued guests, at 01:00 at Eşref Girginç Park (opposite LC Waikiki) and start our pleasant journey towards Ayvalık Port. After our breaks along the way, we complete our procedures at Ayvalık Customs in the morning and begin our ferry journey across the blue waters of the Aegean at 09:00.

After approximately 1.5 hours of a pleasant sea journey, we arrive at Lesvos Island around 10:30. After completing passport procedures, we place our luggage in the waiting vehicle and, after a short free time, begin our exploration of Lesvos.

First, we take a walking tour in the city center of Lesvos. As we walk along Ermou Street, considered the heart of the city, we witness the island’s multicultural past with Agios Therapon Church, notable for its magnificent dome, the Metropolitan Church, the Yeni Mosque reflecting traces of the Ottoman period, the Old Ottoman Bazaar, and the Bazaar Hammam.

After the walking tour, we meet our vehicle in the Panoskala area and have free time for lunch. Guests may experience the unique flavors of Aegean cuisine.

After lunch, we head towards Gera Gulf, known as the hometown of Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha. Passing through endless olive groves, we reach Agiasos Village, one of the most authentic settlements of Lesvos.

In Agiasos; we stroll through its charming bazaar famous for narrow streets, stone houses, and handmade products, and see the finest examples of wood carving and ceramics. Then we visit the Church of Virgin Mary, one of the most important religious sites of the island.

At the end of our tour, we have a short free time in the square under the shade of wisteria. Guests may enjoy coffee cooked in sand while experiencing this unique atmosphere.

DAY 2: SIGRI VILLAGE – ERESSOS – GREEK NIGHT – HOTEL

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart at 09:00 towards the west of Lesvos. Today, an enjoyable day awaits us as we discover the island’s most impressive natural and cultural sites.

Our first stop is Sigri, known for its unique geography and peaceful atmosphere. As we move along changing landscapes, we begin to feel this different face of the island step by step.

This village, notable for facing two different coasts, offers a postcard-like view with the islet in the middle. However, what makes Sigri truly special is the unique 20 million-year-old Fossil Forest found nowhere else in the world. In this extraordinary geography shaped by volcanic activity, we witness even giant sequoia trees turned into stone. In these ancient lands devoid of vegetation, new fossil trunks are still being uncovered through archaeological excavations. Some can even be observed underwater.

Guests who wish may visit the Lesvos Fossil Park Natural History Museum (entrance fee: 5 €). Here, it is possible to explore the evolutionary process from the first single-celled organisms to fossilized trees and even touch marble-like tree trunks. The museum also displays rich examples of Greek flora and aromatic plants.

After this unique experience, we visit the Ottoman Castle dating back to 1757, walk through the narrow streets of Sigri, see the village church converted from an old mosque, and reach the coast. After Sigri, we head to Eressos, known as the birthplace of the famous ancient poet Sappho. After seeing the Sappho Statue in the village square, we move to Skala Eressos beach, one of the most enjoyable spots in the region.

At this beach, one of the most beautiful on the island with its golden sands and clear sea, we have lunch and free time. Guests may swim or walk along the shore and enjoy the atmosphere.

After the day, we return to our hotel for a short rest. In the evening, an unforgettable night awaits us.

At 21:00, the Sirtaki Night begins with traditional Lesvos cuisine, accompanied by Greek music and dances. In this night where rhythm rises and friendship meets dance, we create unforgettable memories. After a short visit to this active sacred site, we have free time in Petra Bazaar. Guests may enjoy shopping for local products, soaps, and souvenirs.
