TOUR PROGRAM
DAY 1: MARMARIS–CAPPADOCIA JOURNEY – NASREDDIN HODJA MAUSOLEUM & HUMOR PARK – CAPPADOCIA HOTEL
We meet at 06:00 in Marmaris at Eşref Girginç Park (opposite LC Waikiki) and begin our journey to Cappadocia. Traveling via Denizli toward Konya, we make breaks to keep the journey pleasant.
In Akşehir district of Konya, we visit the Nasreddin Hodja Mausoleum, one of the symbolic figures of Anatolian wisdom, humor, and folk culture. Accompanied by the stories of Nasreddin Hodja, known for the deep wisdom behind his humor, we take a short but meaningful journey into Anatolian culture. Then, we take an enjoyable break at the nearby Humor Park, starting the program cheerfully as we stroll among statues inspired by Nasreddin Hodja’s anecdotes.
After our visits, we continue our journey toward Cappadocia and arrive in the region in the late afternoon. Accommodation and dinner are at our hotel. (NEVŞEHİR ACCOMMODATION) – 5* SUHAN CAPPADOCIA HOTEL & SPA
DAY 2: OPTIONAL BALLOON TOUR – PIGEON VALLEY – UÇHİSAR – GÖREME OPEN-AIR MUSEUM – IMAGINATION VALLEY – AVANOS – PAŞABAĞI FAIRY CHIMNEYS – TURASAN – HOTEL
Guests who wish to watch Cappadocia from the sky at sunrise may join the optional balloon tour early in the morning. Starting the day with balloons gliding over valleys and fairy chimneys creates one of the most unforgettable moments of Cappadocia.
After breakfast, we begin exploring Cappadocia. Our first stops are Pigeon Valley and Uçhisar. We take photo breaks accompanied by valley-surrounded landscapes and observe Cappadocia’s unique silhouette from different angles. Then, with a Göreme view, we enjoy tea and coffee in a charming venue carved into fairy chimneys.
Our next stop is the Göreme Open-Air Museum, one of the most important historical sites of Cappadocia. Walking among rock-carved monasteries, churches decorated with frescoes, refectories, and living spaces, we witness the region’s thousands-of-years-old past.
At noon, we take a break at a local restaurant to taste one of the most special flavors of Cappadocian cuisine: pottery kebab. After lunch, we head to Imagination Valley, famous for its natural formations that spark the imagination. During our walk in the valley, we discover interesting rock formations shaped by nature.
Then we move on to Avanos, where we closely observe the pottery tradition that has continued for thousands of years with the fertility of the Kızılırmak River. Guests who wish may experience making their own pottery at a workshop.
Later in the day, we visit Paşabağı Fairy Chimneys, one of the most impressive natural areas of Cappadocia. Also known as Monks Valley, we walk among fairy chimneys of various forms and heights, witnessing one of Cappadocia’s most characteristic landscapes. With a photo break at this special spot where daylight meets rock formations, we capture the most powerful frames of Cappadocia.
Our final stop of the day is Turasan Wines, one of Cappadocia’s long-established wine producers. Here, we observe the production process and learn about Cappadocia’s viticulture tradition. After our visits, we return to our hotel, have dinner, and rest.
Accommodation and dinner are at our hotel. (NEVŞEHİR ACCOMMODATION) – 5* SUHAN CAPPADOCIA HOTEL & SPA
DAY 3: KAYMAKLI UNDERGROUND CITY – IHLARA VALLEY – SINASOS / MUSTAFAPAŞA
After breakfast at our hotel, we set out for one of Cappadocia’s most impressive stops. Our first visit is the Kaymaklı Underground City, where people established life underground for centuries. Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, we witness the silent yet powerful traces of the past as we move through long galleries, narrow passages, kitchens, storage rooms, ventilation shafts, and the church.
After leaving the calm atmosphere underground, we turn our route toward Cappadocia’s refreshing nature. Ihlara Valley, accompanied by the Melendiz River, welcomes us with its rock-carved churches and green-surrounded walking trail. During our walk, accompanied by the sound of nature, birdsong, and the soothing flow of water, we slow down time. Clean air and a calm rhythm make this walk one of the most relaxing moments of the day.
After our walk in Ihlara Valley, we reach Mustafapaşa, one of Cappadocia’s most elegant villages. Known as Sinasos in ancient times, we stroll among stone houses in this former Greek village and listen to stories from the population exchange period. With its quiet streets, refined architecture, and deep-rooted history, Mustafapaşa becomes one of the stops where Cappadocia’s tranquil spirit is felt most strongly.
At the end of the day, we return to our hotel, have dinner, and leave the day’s fatigue behind. Accommodation and dinner are at our hotel.

DAY 4: KONYA MEVLANA MUSEUM – RETURN TO MARMARIS
After breakfast, we depart from our hotel on the final day of our fairytale Cappadocia journey. We turn our route toward Konya, once one of Anatolia’s centers of thought, philosophy, and Sufism.
In Konya, following the call that has echoed to humanity for centuries—“Come, whoever you are, come again”—we visit the Mevlana Museum. In this meaningful place, which includes the tomb of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, we quietly stroll among Seljuk-era artifacts, handwritten Qurans, and objects describing the lives of dervishes, completing our journey with a deep sense of peace.
After the visit, we have the opportunity to taste Konya’s local flavors, completing the final notes of this special journey with lingering tastes. After the meal break, we begin our return journey and arrive in Marmaris in the evening.
We bid farewell at our meeting points, hoping to come together again on other journeys.
