DAY 1: MARMARIS-BURSA JOURNEY-GREEN MOSQUE-KOZAHAN-ULUCOSOUSE-ISTANBUL JOURNEY-HOTEL
We meet our valued guests at Eşref Girginç Park (across from LC Waikiki) at 05:00 in the morning and depart for Bursa. After the breaks for food and supplies on the road, we reach Bursa and visit the Green Mosque, which was also used as the Parliament of the Ottoman Empire, and see the calligraphy on its crown gate and Early Ottoman Architecture. Then we visit the Green Tomb, which was built by Çelebi Sultan Mehmet and decorated with turquoise tiles. Then we visit the Bursa Ulu Mosque, which is the largest Ottoman Mosque with 20 domes from the same period, and we have free time at Koza Han. After the free dinner break, where you have the opportunity to taste Bursa's famous Iskender, we head to our hotel in Istanbul and check in to our hotel to rest. DAY 2: SULTAN AHMET SQUARE-YEREBATAN CISTERN- TOPKAPI PALACE-HAGIA SOFIA - SULTAN AHMET MOSQUE -CLOSED BAZAAR- HOTEL
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we leave our hotel to tour the Historical Peninsula. Accompanied by our guide, we go down to Sultan Ahmet Square and visit Sultan Ahmet Mosque, one of the symbols of Istanbul with six minarets decorated with 20 thousand tiles, admired by the whole world and known to Westerners as the Blue Mosque. After understanding the historical place and importance of this enormous mosque with six minarets, we go to the magnificent and mystical Basilica Cistern. The Basilica Cistern, where some scenes from blockbuster movies such as ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and ‘Inferno’ were filmed, was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I to meet the water needs of the region. After this enjoyable tour, we move on to our next visit, Topkapi Palace. This valuable cultural heritage of ours was used as the administrative center of the state for 400 years of the 600-year history of the Ottoman Empire and hosted nearly 4000 people at some periods. With its beautiful gardens, treasury room and Treasury of the Holy Relics, we tour and get to know Topkapi Palace, the most valuable museum in Turkey where the sultans also lived, accompanied by our guide’s narration. Then, we take a break from this enjoyable day to have lunch. After lunch, we visit Hagia Sophia with its 1500-year-old splendor, mosaics on its walls and colorful marbles. The Hagia Sophia Church, formerly known as the Church of Hagia Sophia, where two religions blend in one structure, is among the most important monuments of world architecture that have survived to the present day. After visiting and learning about this valuable cultural heritage, we go to the Grand Bazaar, known as the largest bazaar in the world and also one of the oldest covered bazaars. The Grand Bazaar, which resembles a giant labyrinth with its aesthetic design, has nearly 4000 shops and employs around 25000 people. We get information about the Grand Bazaar, which is the attraction point of Istanbul in terms of both tourism and trade, from our guide and give you free time. Since our hotel is very close to the Grand Bazaar, you can spend as much time as you want in the Grand Bazaar and then go to the hotel or make a different program. DAY 3: BALAT-ORTAKÖY- FISH-BREAD IN EMİNÖNÜ- OPTIONAL BOSPHORUS TOUR-GALATA TOWER- İSTİKLAL STREET WALKING TOUR-HOTEL
After breakfast at our hotel, we leave the hotel to make our visits for today. First, we go to Balat, famous for its colorful houses and narrow stone-paved streets. We take beautiful photos in this cosmopolitan area that hosts Jewish, Armenian and Greek communities and get valuable information from our guide. Then, we go to Ortaköy, an area overlooking the Bosphorus with its popular nightclubs, bars, beautiful cafes and restaurants. We take beautiful group photos with a Bosphorus view and then we see Ortaköy Square, one of the most popular meeting places in Istanbul, and reach Ortaköy Büyük Mecidiye Mosque. This mosque, one of the iconic structures of Istanbul, looks like it is standing on the sea. After completing this visit, we go to Eminönü. We also see the Spice Bazaar, which has a living history since 1664 and is one of the oldest bazaars in Istanbul, and we give free time to those who want to eat fish and bread in Eminönü. Afterwards, we go to Eminönü Pier to take the Bosphorus Tour with our guests who want to join us. While exploring the shores of Istanbul, which has hosted many civilizations throughout history, the beauties of the Bosphorus and its historical structures from the sea, we also breathe in the sea air and enjoy this wonderful atmosphere. During the Bosphorus Tour, we see the iconic values of Istanbul such as Galata Tower, Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Bosphorus Bridge, Savarona Yacht, Rumeli Hisarı, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, Anadolu Hisarı, Kuleli Military High School, Beylerbeyi Palace, and Maiden's Tower. After our enjoyable boat tour, we get off in Karaköy and walk towards Galata Tower. After receiving information about its history from our guide, we go to Istiklal Street, another famous street in Istanbul, and have a pleasant walking tour. DAY 4: DOLMABAHÇE PALACE - RETURN JOURNEY TO MARMARİS
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we check out and visit Dolmabahçe Palace at 09:00.
Note: Dolmabahçe Palace Museum requires reservation and the given reservation time must be respected.
Dolmabahçe Palace was designed by the Armenian Balyan Family with its workmanship and architecture in late Ottoman and European architecture, and its construction took 13 years. We tour this valuable palace, where the Great Leader Atatürk last resided and passed away, with its spiritual and 4.5 ton English-made crystal chandelier adorning its four thousand square meter examination hall, where you will be enchanted, accompanied by the narration of our guide. After our visit to this magnificent palace, we set off on our way back to Marmaris with the pleasure of having toured Istanbul to our heart's content. After the breaks for food and supplies on the road, we reach Marmaris at night and bid farewell to you, our valued guests, with the hope of seeing you on the next tours.
