DAY 1: MARMARIS-ÇEŞME TRANSFER-ÇEŞME-CHIOS CATAMARAN JOURNEY-SOUTHERN ISLAND TOUR- ARMOLIA-PİRGİ-MASTİCHORİA VILLAGES-HOTEL

We meet with our valued guests at 02:00 in Eşref Girginç Park (opposite LC Waikiki) and depart for Çeşme Port, the departure point for the Çeşme-Chios ferry.

We arrive at Çeşme Ulusoy Port at 08:30 and after ticket and passport checks, we depart for the island on our ferry departing at 09:20. After a journey of about half an hour, we arrive on the island and meet our guide. After customs procedures, we load our luggage onto the waiting vehicle, and after all guests' passport procedures are completed, we begin our Southern Island Tour as instructed by our guide. Our South Island tour program includes visits to the villages of Armolia, Pirgi, and Mesta on Chios Island, all of which are protected by UNESCO.

Our first stop will be Armolia village, famous for its handmade ceramics for hundreds of years. Here, we will get to know the famous mastic trees that give the island its name and learn fascinating facts about this natural wonder from our guide. We will then take a short break to visit one of the famous ceramic workshops. Our next stop will be Mesta village, one of the many medieval castle-villages on Chios that has best preserved its architecture to this day. It takes us on a journey back in time to the 13th century. We will navigate its labyrinthine streets to the village square, where we will take a break. During this break, guests can sample the island's local ice cream, the famous Greek frappuccino, or the fig raki (Suma), which is only produced on Chios Island. After visiting the Taksiarchis church, we will leave the village. Our next village will be PYRGI, unique in the world for the geometric shapes on the houses. Our guide will give us detailed information about this technique, called Ksista, which has been practiced for centuries, from the Genoese to the present day. After seeing the house where Christopher Columbus stayed on Chios Island (although many call it a legend, almost half of the villagers have the surname Columbus!), we will head for lunch. After lunch at a delicious tavern by the sea, we will head to our hotel to relax and recharge for the evening's entertainment. (ACCOMMODATION ON CHIOS ISLAND) 4* Grecian Castle Hotel

At 8:30 PM, we will meet in the hotel lobby and go to the tavern where we will have dinner with live Greek music, unlimited ouzo and wine. Guests who wish can continue dancing sirtaki and breaking plates until the early hours of the morning. (Optional Tour - Greek Night)

DAY 2: THYMNIA VILLAGE - MOSTRA CARNIVAL - FREE TIME - CHIOS PORT - TRIP TO ÇEŞME - ÇEŞME - MARMARIS TRANSFER

After breakfast at our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and meet our guide in the lobby at 10:30 (local time) to begin our Mostra Carnival tour. First, accompanied by our guide, we travel to Thymiana Village, where the Carnival takes place. Thymiana is one of the large and beautiful villages of Chios Island, famous for its red decorative stone. The Agios Efstritos Church in the center is one of the main venues for the carnival. The history of Mostra's carnival dates back centuries, to the Middle Ages, to the time when pirates roamed the Aegean Sea. On a Sunday when the people of Thymiana, a village near the city, were celebrating, pirates attacked the island. Upon learning of the pirates' arrival, the villagers, weary of the frequent pirate attacks, mustered the courage to fight them, fueled by the excitement of the celebration. This time, the villagers defeated the pirates, and in their triumphant excitement, they "hanged" them on the spot. To ensure the event is not forgotten, this meaningful day, representing unity and togetherness, has been celebrated annually.

Mostra Day is celebrated by the islanders, especially the people of Thymiana, as a lively fair with medieval costumes and masks, offering various treats and a local festival atmosphere. The "Talimi" folk dances, depicting the struggle between the pirates and the islanders, are among the most entertaining parts of the carnival. We will watch this carnival, made even more enjoyable by the hospitable people of Chios, and have our meal break in the village square. At the meeting time specified by our guides, we will return to our vehicle and depart for Chios harbor. After a short journey, we return to Çeşme port and complete our border entry procedures again. Afterwards, we meet our vehicle waiting for us at the port and, with the happiness of having had a different experience, we arrive in Marmaris in the evening. In Marmaris, we drop you off at the points where we picked you up and say goodbye until we see you on other tours.

**Our guide has the right to make changes to the program and routes, provided that all visits are completed, taking into account situations that may affect the course of the trip, such as weather and road conditions. **Individuals under 18 who wish to travel abroad must have their father's consent if traveling only with their mother, their mother's consent if traveling only with their father, and the consent of both parents if traveling alone or with someone other than their parents. If the child's custody is with a legal representative, a notarized or officially certified consent form from the legal representative is required. **Our agency cannot be held responsible for the cancellation of a visit if physical conditions make it impossible (road, weather, natural disaster, etc.).** Our company cannot be held responsible for changes in departure times caused by the ferry company or cancellations due to weather conditions. In such cases, our company reserves the right to make changes to the tour program. **Greek authorities do not grant entry to the country if passports contain entry/exit stamps from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).**

**Passengers whose passports have less than 90 days remaining until their expiration date must check before booking.** Guests who have extended their passports may experience problems at border crossings. If you are participating in the tour with an extended passport, you must indicate this during tour registration. Otherwise, our agency cannot be held responsible for any problems that may arise, such as being denied entry to the country. In such cases, no refunds will be issued. **Guests who will receive visa-on-arrival consultancy services from us are strongly advised to read the information regarding visa-on-arrival on our website: https://www.koraltravel.com/Tour-Agreement. Our agency cannot be held responsible in case of visa-on-arrival refusal, and therefore, no refund of the tour package fee will be issued.** Child discounts are valid only when staying with two adults.
