TOUR PROGRAM
DAY 1: MARMARIS – SAFRANBOLU JOURNEY
We meet our valued guests at 19:00 in front of İnci Statue – Doğtaş and start our dream-like tour. We depart towards Safranbolu, our first stop.
DAY 2: SAFRANBOLU – HORMA CANYON – ILICA WATERFALL – KASTAMONU
After our overnight journey, we arrive in Safranbolu in the morning hours. In this unique city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we have breakfast and make a pleasant start to our Black Sea journey.
First, we go up to Hıdırlık Hill and watch the historic Safranbolu houses from a panoramic view. After this fascinating view, we see Cinci Hoca Inn, one of the most important historical structures of Safranbolu, and visit Kaymakamlar House, which reflects daily life in the Ottoman period.
Later, we take a short walk in the Historical Blacksmiths Bazaar, one of the liveliest places in Safranbolu, and then take a coffee break in Arasta Bazaar. During the free time given by our guide, you can taste the famous saffron Turkish delights of the region and buy souvenirs.
After saying goodbye to the historical atmosphere of Safranbolu, we head to Horma Canyon – Küre Mountains National Park, one of the most impressive natural wonders of the Western Black Sea. Walking along the wooden platforms, we explore the fascinating nature of the canyon and at the end of the walk we reach Ilıca Waterfall, one of the most beautiful natural attractions of the region. Flowing in the middle of lush forests, this impressive waterfall offers one of the most beautiful landscapes of Black Sea nature.
After this pleasant discovery in nature, we head towards Kastamonu. In the evening we arrive at our hotel in Kastamonu, have dinner and rest.

DAY 3: KASTAMONU – SAMSUN – ORDU CABLE CAR – ORDU
After breakfast at our hotel, we complete the check-out procedures and start the day with a panoramic city tour of Kastamonu. During the tour we see Şadırvan Square located in the heart of the city, the Şerife Bacı Monument, one of the symbolic figures of the War of Independence, and the Clock Tower, one of the symbols of Kastamonu.
After our visit to Kastamonu, we continue our journey to Samsun. Here we visit the Bandırma Ferry replica, which brought Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his companions to Samsun on May 19, 1919 and witnessed the beginning of the National Struggle. This monument, one of the most important symbols of the history of the Republic of Türkiye, becomes an impressive stop reflecting the spirit of that era.
Afterwards we pass to the Ordu Cable Car facilities where we can watch one of the most beautiful views of the Black Sea. Guests who wish can take a cable car ride (extra). During this pleasant journey extending from the Black Sea coast to approximately 530 meters high, the city of Ordu and the unique coastal scenery of the Black Sea unfold before our eyes step by step. This journey offers a different perspective of the region’s natural beauty where the shades of green meet the blue of the Black Sea.
During the free time at Boztepe reached by cable car, you can watch the panoramic view of Ordu and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere while having tea or coffee.
After this enjoyable day we go to our hotel in Ordu for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4: TRABZON – ATATÜRK MANSION – SÜMELA MONASTERY
After breakfast at our hotel we continue our Black Sea tour. We start the day with a visit where we get to know traditional handicrafts of the region. We see the finest examples of Kazaziye, filigree and wire craftsmanship and watch how these elegant handicrafts are produced by masters.
Later we go to Atatürk Mansion, one of the most special places in Trabzon. This historic mansion, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed in 1930, is one of the most important symbols of Trabzon with its impressive architecture and lush garden.
Then we head to Sümela Monastery, one of the most impressive structures of the Black Sea. Built approximately 350 meters above the steep cliffs of Altındere Valley, this unique structure is one of the most fascinating historical heritages of the region.
At the monastery we listen to its history from our guide and explore the churches decorated with frescoes, monks’ rooms and different sections of the monastery. From the terraces we watch the impressive view of Altındere Valley and take unforgettable photos.
After the visit we return to Trabzon city center and settle in our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 5: SÜRMENE – TEA FACTORY – UZUNGÖL – BATUMI
After breakfast we start our visits. Our first stop is Sürmene, famous for its handmade knives. In the workshop we see how these famous knives are produced with traditional methods.
Later we visit a tea factory and learn the production process of tea from field to table and taste the famous Black Sea tea.
Then we head to Uzungöl, one of the most famous natural beauties of the Black Sea. Surrounded by green mountains, Uzungöl fascinates visitors with its impressive scenery. We walk around the lake and take photo breaks. Guests who wish can go up to Uzungöl Terrace to watch the panoramic view.
Afterwards we head to Batumi. Following the border crossing procedures at Sarp Border Gate, we enter Georgia and arrive in Batumi.
We take a short break at the viewpoint where the Saint Andrew Statue is located and then start exploring the city. During the tour we see Theatre Square, Neptune Fountain, Europe Square, Medea Statue, Astronomical Clock, Piazza Square and St. Nicholas Church.
After a coffee break at Piazza Square we visit the famous moving Ali and Nino statue, symbolizing the eternal love story between an Azerbaijani Muslim boy and a Georgian Christian girl.
After the city tour, free time is given for guests who wish to have dinner (extra) at a special restaurant where local Batumi cuisine can be experienced.
At the end of the day we check into our hotel in Batumi for accommodation.

DAY 6: BATUMI – AYDER PLATEAU – ZILKALE – PALOVIT WATERFALL – ŞENYUVA VILLAGE
After breakfast we leave Batumi and head to Sarp Border Gate. After entering Türkiye we proceed to Ayder Plateau.
Ayder Plateau, surrounded by lush forests and mountain waters, is one of the most famous highlands of the Black Sea. We see Gelintülü Waterfall and take a short walk.
Then we continue through Çamlıhemşin to reach Zilkale, one of the most impressive historical structures of the region. Built on the cliffs above Fırtına Valley, the castle offers breathtaking views.
After Zilkale we visit Palovit Waterfall, one of the most powerful natural attractions of the Eastern Black Sea.
Later we visit Şenyuva Village with its stone houses and traditional architecture and see the famous Şenyuva Bridge.
After this unforgettable day in nature we head to Trabzon for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 7: ORDU – AMASYA – YALI BOYU HOUSES – SARAYDÜZÜ BARRACKS – CLOCK TOWER – ROCK TOMBS – MEDICAL HISTORY MUSEUM – BAYEZID COMPLEX
After breakfast we leave the Black Sea coast and head to Amasya, known as the “City of Princes”.
Upon arrival we first see the Yalıboyu Houses lined along the Yeşilırmak River. These historic mansions form one of the most iconic views of the city.
We then visit Saraydüzü Barracks, an important place for the Turkish War of Independence, and the Amasya Clock Tower.
Later we see the Pontic Kings Rock Tombs, included in the UNESCO Tentative World Heritage List in 2015.
We walk along the Princes Road and experience the historic atmosphere of the city.
Our next stop is the Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Medical History Museum, one of the rare medical institutions in the world.
Finally we visit the Sultan Bayezid II Complex which reflects the rich history and architectural heritage of Amasya.
After the day full of culture and history we go to our hotel in Amasya for dinner and accommodation.
(AMASYA ACCOMMODATION) 4* PAYİDAR HOTEL
DAY 8: FERHAT WATER CHANNELS – ÇORUM – RETURN TO MARMARIS
After breakfast we leave our hotel in Amasya and begin the return journey. Before leaving the city we see the Ferhat Water Channels associated with the legendary love story of Ferhat and Şirin.
Then we continue our journey to Marmaris. On the way we stop in Çorum, famous for its roasted chickpeas (leblebi), where guests can purchase this local specialty.
Afterwards we continue via Ankara – Afyon – Denizli with necessary breaks and arrive in Marmaris in the evening.
After discovering the beautiful nature of the Black Sea, its highlands and historic cities together, we bid farewell and hope to meet again on another Koral Tourism journey.

**Our guide may make changes in the program and route considering weather or road conditions while ensuring all visits are completed.
**If a visit becomes impossible due to physical conditions (road, weather, natural disaster etc.), our agency cannot be held responsible.
**Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour. The agency is not responsible for lost items in the bus, hotel rooms or common areas. Valuable belongings should be kept in hotel safes whenever possible.
**A tour is not only about destinations but also about the people who make the journey enjoyable. Tips are not mandatory in Türkiye and are not included in the price, but they are a kind way to express satisfaction.
GEORGIA – BATUMI BORDER CROSSING INFORMATION
*According to the agreement between Türkiye and Georgia, entry to Batumi since 1 September 2019 is only possible with the new chip ID card. Temporary IDs or other cards are not accepted.
*Non-Turkish citizens can enter with a passport. Turkish citizens must pay the international exit fee themselves.
*Guests under 18 who are not traveling with both parents must have a notarized consent letter.
*Children’s new ID cards must include a photograph, otherwise entry to Georgia may be refused.
*Passengers must not carry excessive medication into Georgia; if medication is required, a medical report translated into Georgian must be carried.
*Guests with foreign passports must check visa procedures with the relevant consulates.
*Border officers have the authority to refuse entry or exit. The agency is not responsible for such situations.
