TOUR PROGRAM

DAY 1: MARMARIS-SAFRANBOLU JOURNEY

We meet our valued guests at 19:00 in front of the İnci Statue – Doğtaş and begin our dream-like tour. We depart towards Safranbolu, our first destination.

DAY 2: SAFRANBOLU – HORMA CANYON – ILICA WATERFALL – KASTAMONU

After our overnight journey, we arrive in Safranbolu in the morning hours. In this unique city listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, we have breakfast and make a pleasant start to our Black Sea journey.

First, we go up to Hıdırlık Hill and watch the historic Safranbolu houses from a bird’s-eye view. After this fascinating view, we see Cinci Hoca Inn, one of the most important historical buildings of Safranbolu, and visit Kaymakamlar House, which reflects daily life during the Ottoman period.

Afterwards, we take a short walk in the Historic Blacksmiths Bazaar, one of the liveliest points of Safranbolu, and then take a coffee break in Arasta Bazaar. During the free time given by our guide, you can taste the region’s famous saffron Turkish delights and buy souvenirs.

After saying goodbye to the historical atmosphere of Safranbolu, we turn our route to Horma Canyon – Küre Mountains National Park, one of the most impressive natural wonders of the Western Black Sea. While walking on the wooden platforms, we explore the fascinating nature of the canyon, and at the end of our walk we reach Ilıca Waterfall, one of the most beautiful natural beauties of the region. This impressive waterfall flowing in the middle of lush forests offers one of the most beautiful views of Black Sea nature.

After this enjoyable exploration intertwined with nature, we head to Kastamonu. In the evening we arrive at our hotel in Kastamonu, have dinner and rest.

(KASTAMONU ACCOMMODATION) ARMONİ PARK HOTEL

DAY 3: KASTAMONU – SAMSUN – ORDU CABLE CAR – ORDU

After breakfast at our hotel, we complete our check-out procedures and start the day with a panoramic city tour of Kastamonu. In Kastamonu, which stands out with its historical texture and natural beauties, we take a short city tour with our guide. During this tour we see Şadırvan Square, Şerife Bacı Monument, one of the symbolic figures of the War of Independence, and the Clock Tower, which has become one of the symbols of Kastamonu.

After our visits in Kastamonu, we continue our journey towards Samsun. Here we visit the Bandırma Ferry replica, which brought Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades to Samsun on May 19, 1919 and witnessed the beginning of the Turkish War of Independence. This memorial structure, one of the most important symbols of the history of the Republic of Türkiye, becomes an impressive stop that allows visitors to closely feel the spirit of that period.

Then we pass the Ordu Cable Car facilities where we can watch one of the most beautiful views of the Black Sea. Guests who wish may take a cable car ride to enjoy the magnificent scenery (extra). Starting from the Black Sea coast and extending to about 530 meters in height, during this pleasant cable car journey the city of Ordu and the unique coastal view of the Black Sea gradually unfold before our eyes. This journey where the shades of green hills meet the blue of the Black Sea offers the opportunity to see the natural beauty of the region from a different perspective.

During our free time at Boztepe, where we arrive by cable car, you can watch the fascinating panoramic view of Ordu and enjoy the bird’s-eye view of the Black Sea coastline. Guests who wish can sip tea or coffee against the view and capture some of the most beautiful photo frames of the Black Sea.

After this pleasant day, we move to our hotel in Ordu for dinner and accommodation.

(ORDU ACCOMMODATION) 4* KUBALİÇ HOTEL

DAY 4: TRABZON – ATATÜRK MANSION – SUMELA MONASTERY

After breakfast at our hotel, we continue our Black Sea tour from where we left off. We start the day with a pleasant visit where we get to know the traditional handicrafts of the region. We see the finest examples of Kazaziye, wicker and filigree craftsmanship and watch how these elegant handicrafts are produced by masters, discovering an important part of Black Sea culture.

Then we go to Atatürk Mansion, one of the most special points of Trabzon. This historical mansion where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed in 1930 is one of the most important symbols of Trabzon with its impressive architecture and lush garden. We take a short walk in the garden of the mansion and feel the peaceful atmosphere of Black Sea nature.

After this meaningful visit, we head to see Sumela Monastery, one of the most impressive structures of the Black Sea. Built about 350 meters high on the steep cliffs of Altındere Valley, this unique structure is one of the most fascinating historical heritages of the Black Sea. As we move towards this magnificent monastery rising from the valley, we witness the magnificent landscapes offered by nature.

When we arrive at the monastery, we listen to its history with our guide and explore the fresco-decorated churches, monks’ rooms and different sections of the monastery. This mystical structure, which has hosted different cultures for centuries, becomes one of the stops that most strongly reflects the history and spirit of the Black Sea.

During our visit we watch the impressive view of Altındere Valley from the monastery terraces and have the opportunity to capture some of the most beautiful photo frames of the Black Sea.

After our Sumela visit, we return to Trabzon city center and settle in our hotel in Trabzon for dinner.

(TRABZON ACCOMMODATION) OUR HOTELS: 4* GRAND VAVES HOTEL

DAY 5: SURMENE – TEA FACTORY – UZUNGÖL – BATUM

After breakfast at our hotel, we start our visits. Our first stop will be Sürmene knives, one of the important handicrafts of the Black Sea. At the workshop we will visit in Sürmene, we will have the opportunity to closely see the production process of these famous knives produced with traditional handcraft techniques and listen to the details of this craft from the masters.

Then we visit a tea factory to see the production process of tea, one of the indispensable symbols of Black Sea culture. We learn about the journey of tea from the fields to the tables and experience this special flavor of the Black Sea with a tea tasting.

After these pleasant visits, we head to Uzungöl, one of the most famous natural beauties of the Black Sea. Surrounded by lush mountains and fascinating views, in Uzungöl we take a walk around the lake and give photo breaks. Guests who wish can go up to Uzungöl Terrace to watch one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the region.

After our Uzungöl visit, we turn our route to Batum, one of the most lively cities of the Black Sea. After completing our crossing procedures at the Sarp Border Gate, we enter Georgia and arrive in Batum.

First we take a short break at the viewpoint where the Saint Andrew Statue is located. Then we start exploring Batum city center. During our city tour, Theatre Square, Neptune Fountain, Europe Square, Medea Statue, Astronomical Clock, Piazza Square and Saint Nicholas Church are among the places we visit in Batum.

After a coffee break at Piazza Square, we see the Ali and Nino statue, one of the most romantic symbols of Batum. This moving statue symbolizes the immortal love story of an Azerbaijani Muslim young man and a Georgian Christian girl.

After the city tour, free time is given for guests who wish to have dinner (extra) at a special restaurant where we can taste the local flavors of Batum.

After this pleasant day exploring Batum with its daytime and evening atmosphere, we settle in our hotel in Batum for accommodation.

(BATUM ACCOMMODATION) 4* LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM HOTEL

DAY 6: BATUM – AYDER PLATEAU – ZILKALE – PALOVIT WATERFALL – SENYUVA VILLAGE

After breakfast at our hotel, we leave our Batum hotel and move towards the Sarp Border Gate. After completing our entry procedures to Türkiye, we turn our route to Ayder Plateau, one of the most impressive nature routes of the Eastern Black Sea.

Ayder Plateau, which we reach accompanied by lush forests, cool plateau air and waters flowing down from the mountains, is one of the most famous and beautiful plateaus of the Black Sea. Here we first see Gelintülü Waterfall, one of the symbols of the plateau, and take a short walk accompanied by this impressive view.

Then we proceed through Çamlıhemşin and reach Zilkale, one of the most impressive historical structures of the Black Sea. Built on the high cliffs of Fırtına Valley, this magnificent castle fascinates visitors with both its historical atmosphere and the magnificent views it offers. From the castle we watch Fırtına Valley from a bird’s-eye view and witness one of the most impressive landscapes of Black Sea nature.

After our Zilkale visit, we continue our way to Palovit Waterfall, one of the strongest natural beauties of the region. With its roaring water and location in the middle of lush forests, Palovit Waterfall is one of the most impressive natural points of the Eastern Black Sea.

After this enjoyable exploration intertwined with nature, we turn our route to Şenyuva Village, one of the most characteristic villages of the region. In the village, which attracts attention with its stone houses and traditional architecture, we see Şenyuva Bridge, one of the symbols of the region, and take a photo break accompanied by the fascinating view of Fırtına Valley.

After this unforgettable day intertwined with the nature of the Black Sea, we move to Trabzon and reach our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

(TRABZON ACCOMMODATION) 4* GRAND VAVES HOTEL

DAY 7: ORDU – AMASYA – YALI BOYU HOUSES – SARAYDÜZÜ BARRACKS – CLOCK TOWER – ROCK TOMBS – MEDICAL MUSEUM – BAYEZID COMPLEX

After breakfast at our hotel, we leave the Black Sea coasts and head towards Amasya, one of the most elegant cities of Anatolia.

Amasya, one of the oldest settlements of Anatolia with a history of 7500 years, is known as the “City of Princes” because of the princes raised during the Ottoman period.

When we arrive in the city, we first see the Yalı Boyu Houses lined along the Yeşilırmak River. These historical buildings, which actually consist of old mansions and are now used as restaurants, create one of the most iconic views of Amasya. During our break by the Yeşilırmak River we take photos of this unique scenery.

Then we see Saraydüzü Barracks, which has great importance for the War of Independence, and Amasya Clock Tower, one of the symbols of the city.

Afterwards we visit the Pontic Kings Rock Tombs, which were included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2015. Located on the slopes of Yeşilırmak Valley, these impressive structures offer strong traces of the importance Amasya has carried throughout history.

After our visits, we explore the Princes’ Promenade with a pleasant walk and closely feel the historical atmosphere of the city.

Our next stop is the Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Medical and History Museum, one of the rare health structures in the world. Here we obtain interesting information about treatment methods used in the past and the effects of music on the human soul.

In the last part of our tour, we visit the Sultan Bayezid II Complex, one of the most important historical structures of Amasya. With its mosque, madrasa and other buildings, this impressive complex reflects the rich history and architectural heritage of Amasya.

After our visits filled with history and culture throughout the day, we settle in our hotel in Amasya for dinner and accommodation.

(AMASYA ACCOMMODATION)- 4* PAYİDAR HOTEL

DAY 8: FERHAT WATER CHANNELS – ÇORUM – RETURN TO MARMARIS

After breakfast at our hotel, we leave our Amasya hotel and start our return journey. Before leaving Amasya, we see the Ferhat Water Channels, which bear the traces of the legendary love story of Ferhat and Şirin. These historical water channels, believed to have been opened by Ferhat by drilling the mountains for his beloved, are impressive structures witnessing one of the most famous love stories of Anatolia.

After this meaningful visit, we continue our return journey to Marmaris. During our break in Çorum, famous for its roasted chickpeas, guests who wish can buy the famous Çorum roasted chickpeas.

Then we continue our journey via Ankara – Afyon – Denizli route with rest breaks and arrive in Marmaris in the evening.

After this enjoyable journey where we explored the most beautiful colors of nature, the cool air of the Black Sea plateaus, the fascinating atmosphere of historical cities and unforgettable landscapes together, we say goodbye to our valued guests with the hope of meeting again in another Koral Tourism organization.

**Seating arrangement in our vehicle is determined by seat numbers, and after the first payment the seat number is automatically assigned. If you have any sensitivity regarding the seat number, please contact us.

**The type of vehicle that will depart for the tour (minibus, midibus or bus) is determined according to the final number of participants. Our company assigns the most suitable vehicle depending on the demand.

**Our guide reserves the right to make changes in the program and routes by considering conditions such as weather and road conditions that may affect the course of the trip, provided that all visits are carried out.

**If physical conditions make a visit impossible (road, weather conditions, natural disaster etc.), our agency cannot be held responsible for the cancellation of this visit.

**During the tour, our guests are kindly requested to take care of their personal belongings on the bus, at the hotel and at visiting points. Our agency is not responsible for items forgotten or lost on buses, hotel rooms or common areas. It is recommended that valuable items (cash, ID, passport, jewelry etc.) be kept in hotel safes as much as possible and that personal belongings be checked during boarding and disembarking.

**A tour is not only about the places visited, but also about the people who turn the journey into pleasure. The knowledge of our guide, the safe driving of our captain and team harmony play an important role in turning your journey into beautiful memories. In our country, tipping is not mandatory and is not included in the price. However, it is one of the most elegant ways to express your satisfaction. INFORMATION ABOUT GEORGIA-BATUM CROSSING

*According to the agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and Georgia, entry to Batum can only be made with the new chip ID cards as of September 1, 2019. Except for the new ID card and passport, cards such as driver’s licenses or temporary IDs issued during the application process cannot be used for crossing. Please do not forget to bring your new ID cards.

*Guests who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye can cross with a passport. Turkish citizens must pay their own exit fees. Guests who cannot enter due to missing documents are responsible themselves.

*Guests under the age of 18 who will not travel with both parents must obtain a NOTARIZED CONSENT LETTER for crossing to BATUM. For guests under 18 who participate only with their mother or only with their father, a notarized consent letter from the parent not participating in the trip is required.

*If the new type ID documents belonging to child passengers (regardless of age) do not have a photograph, they are not allowed to enter Georgia by Georgian authorities. Therefore, it is necessary that the new type ID documents belonging to child passengers must have photographs.

*Rules to be followed on the Georgian side include that passports must not be old or torn, and that guests must not carry medicines. Guests who use medicines must have reports translated into Georgian with them. Our guide will provide information about this during the tour.

*Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using another country’s passport must personally consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures applied by the country to be visited for their passport; otherwise Koral Tourism cannot be held responsible for the consequences.

*Turkish or Georgian passport police officers at the border gate have the authority to refuse entry or exit. In any case of being unable to leave the country, Koral Tourism cannot be held responsible. All responsibility belongs to the passenger.

*It is forbidden to bring medicines into Georgia, especially painkillers, in amounts exceeding daily use. Our guide will provide information on this during the tour.
