DAY 1 | 28 July 2026 TUESDAY

MARMARIS – IZMIR ADNAN MENDERES AIRPORT TRANSFER

We begin our Balkan journey by meeting at the designated point on Tuesday evening, 11 August 2026, according to our flight time.

DAY 2 | 12 August 2026 WEDNESDAY

IZMIR – SKOPJE (DIRECT FLIGHT) – SKOPJE / HOTEL

After arriving at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal, we complete our check-in, baggage, and passport procedures.

Following passport control, we take our DIRECT (NON-STOP) flight to Skopje at 01:55 with SunExpress Airlines flight number XQ896.

After an approximately 1 hour 25-minute night flight, we arrive at Skopje International Airport at 02:20 local time.

After completing baggage and passport procedures, we transfer to our hotel in Skopje and check into our rooms.

Due to the late-night arrival, the remainder of the day is reserved for rest. After breakfast, our Balkan discovery journey begins.

SKOPJE – TETOVO – BITOLA – RESEN – OHRID

After breakfast at our hotel, we depart from Skopje and head toward Tetovo, known as Kalkandelen among Turks.

Here, we visit the unique Painted Mosque (Alaca Mosque), built by two sisters and famous for its extraordinary motifs and decorations. Its colors and delicate details create a truly impressive atmosphere.

After this special visit, we head toward the summit of Mavrovo Mountain rising through forests. Accompanied by fresh mountain air, we enjoy a short but pleasant break with traditional fried dough (pişi), natural goat cheese, and ayran.

We then arrive in Bitola (Manastır), one of the Balkans’ most historic cities. After visiting the Old Bazaar, Bedesten, Ishak Mosque, and Yeni Mosque, we walk along Şirok Street. During this walk, we see the house of Eleni Karinte, Atatürk’s first love in Manastır, and listen to her emotional letter.

One of our most meaningful stops is the Military High School where Atatürk studied, now serving as a museum.

After Bitola, we continue to Ohrid, known as the pearl of Macedonia. Passing through Resen, famous for its apple orchards and Niyazi Pasha, we see Niyazi Pasha Palace panoramically and hear the story behind the phrase “Neither a martyr nor a veteran, Niyazi died in vain.”

Upon arrival in Ohrid, during our city tour we visit St. Panteleimon, Hagia Sophia Church, the Roman Amphitheater, Tsar Samuel’s Fortress, Plane Tree Square, Halveti Tekke, the Historic Plane Tree, and the Cyril & Methodius Monument.

Guests who wish may join an optional boat tour on Lake Ohrid.

After free time, we check into our hotel, have dinner, and enjoy a traditional Macedonian night with music and local flavors.

DAY 3 | 13 August 2026 THURSDAY

OHRID – SVETI NAUM – ELBASAN – TIRANA – SHKODRA AREA

After breakfast, we head to Sveti Naum, located at the source of Lake Ohrid at the foothills of Mount Pelister.

In this “Hidden Paradise,” guests may join an optional 20-minute boat ride or enjoy coffee surrounded by nature. We visit the Sveti Naum Monastery complex, believed to include the tomb of Sarı Saltuk.

We then cross into Albania and continue along the Shkumbin River Valley. Passing through Elbasan, we reach Tirana, declared Albania’s capital in 1920.

During our Tirana city tour, we see Ethem Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, National Museum, Opera and Ballet Building, Parliament and Prime Ministry Buildings, Presidential Palace, and Skanderbeg Square and Statue.

We then proceed to Shkodra, historically an important Ottoman base. We see Rozafa Castle panoramically and hear its legendary story.

DAY 4 | 14 August 2026 FRIDAY

SHKODRA – BUDVA – KOTOR – PERAST – TREBINJE / MOSTAR / MEDJUGORJE

After breakfast, we head toward Montenegro along the Adriatic coast.

We stop for photos overlooking Sveti Stefan Island. Passing Budva panoramically, we reach Kotor.

In Kotor’s Old Town, we see Sea Gate, Arms Square, Clock Tower, Pillar of Shame, Beskuca Palace, St. Tryphon Cathedral, St. Nicholas and St. Luke Churches.

We then visit Perast and see Sveti Djordje Island and Our Lady of the Rocks panoramically.

After crossing into Bosnia and Herzegovina, we arrive at our hotel in the Trebinje area.

OPTIONAL DUBROVNIK TOUR (EXTRA)

Guests with Schengen visa or green passport may join an optional evening tour to Dubrovnik, visiting the city walls, Onofrio Fountain, Franciscan Monastery, Bell Tower, Orlando Statue, St. Blaise Church, Sponza Palace, Rector’s Palace, and the Old Harbor.

DAY 5 | 15 August 2026 SATURDAY

TREBINJE – BLAGAJ – MOSTAR – KONJIC – SARAJEVO

After breakfast, we visit Blagaj Tekke by the Buna River.

We continue to Mostar and visit Mostar Bridge, Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque, Karagöz Mosque, and the Old Bazaar.

Passing Jablanica and Konjic, we reach Sarajevo.

In Sarajevo, we see the Old Library (Vijecnica), Seher Bridge, Inat House, Emperor’s Mosque, Latin Bridge, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Eternal Flame, Markale Market, Ferhadija Mosque, Morica Han, and Gazi Husrev Bey Complex.

DAY 6 | 16 August 2026 SUNDAY

SARAJEVO – BELGRADE

After breakfast, we travel to Belgrade.

In Belgrade, we see Parliament, Old Palace, National Museum, Terazije Fountain, Kalemegdan Fortress, Istanbul Gate, Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Fountain, Damad Ali Pasha Tomb, Military Museum, and Monument of Gratitude to France.

Free time on Knez Mihailova Street.

DAY 7 | 17 August 2026 MONDAY

BELGRADE – SKOPJE

After breakfast, we travel to Skopje.

We visit Skopje Fortress, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Suli Han, Murat Pasha Mosque, Double Hammam, Kapan Han, Davut Pasha Hammam, Stone Bridge, Old Bazaar, Macedonia Square, statues of historical figures, and the Mother Teresa Memorial House.

DAY 8 | 18 August 2026 TUESDAY

SKOPJE – MATKA CANYON – PRIZREN – SKOPJE

After breakfast, we visit Matka Canyon.

We then enter Kosovo, visit Sultan Murad Hüdavendigar’s Tomb in Pristina, and continue to Prizren.

In Prizren, we visit Halveti Tekke, Gazi Mehmet Pasha Hammam, and Sinan Pasha Mosque.

After free time, we return to Skopje Airport.

DAY 9 | 19 August 2026 WEDNESDAY

SKOPJE – IZMIR FLIGHT, IZMIR – MARMARIS (RETURN TRANSFER & FAREWELL)

After check-in and passport procedures, we depart at 03:10 with SunExpress flight XQ897.

Arrival in Izmir at 05:30 local time.

After baggage procedures, transfer back to Marmaris and farewell at the meeting points.
