DAY 1: CASTLE FREE BREAKFAST – KULADOKYA FAIRY CHIMNEYS – HISTORICAL KULA HOUSES – KULA DIVLIT VOLCANIC GEO PARK – THERMAL HOTEL
We meet early in the morning at Eşref Girginç Park and begin our journey. After a free breakfast break en route, we turn our route towards one of the most interesting regions of Anatolia.
Our first stop is the Kula Fairy Chimneys. We walk through this extraordinary landscape, formed by volcanic eruptions and millions of years of erosion, and see the unique forms shaped by nature up close. We take a photo break in the peaceful atmosphere offered by the valley and enjoy this unique geography.
Then we reach the Historical Kula Houses. With its bay-windowed mansions, mosques, fountains, and street texture dating from the Ottoman period to the present day, Kula resembles a living open-air museum. While exploring this historical texture with the explanations of our guide, we witness the multicultural past of the region up close.
Later in the day, we turn our route to the Kula Divlit Volcanic Geopark. We walk among the interesting rock formations created by volcanic tuffs and learn about the geological formations of the region. During this visit, which is surrounded by nature, impressive views await photography enthusiasts. At the end of the day, we travel to Manisa and check into our thermal hotel. DAY 2: SARDES ANCIENT CITY - TAŞYARAN VALLEY - UŞAK LUNCH - UŞAK ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM – ULUBEY CANYON – DENİZLİ DINNER - MARMARIS RETURN
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we complete our check-out procedures and start the day. Our first stop is the ancient city of Sardes, which hosted one of the most important civilizations in history. In this magnificent area, which was the capital of the Lydian Civilization, we explore the places where gold coins were first minted, the Temple of Artemis, and the traces of the ancient period with the explanation of our guide. While walking on the old Ionian roads, we experience the excitement of touching thousands of years of history. After our visit to Sardes, we turn our route towards the Taşyaran Valley, where nature presents a true work of art. In this unique valley, formed by the İmren Stream eroding the hard rocks over thousands of years, we hike and discover the natural details hidden among the rock formations. We take a short break in this environment where the flowing water and the silence of the valley merge, feeling the tranquility offered by nature. After our nature walk, we move on to Uşak and have a free lunch break to sample the local delicacies. After recharging our energy with the rich flavors of Uşak cuisine, we visit the Uşak Archaeology Museum, which attracts the attention of history enthusiasts. The Karun Treasure, exhibited in the museum and belonging to the Lydian King Croesus, gains even more meaning with our guide's explanation. This unique collection reveals the historical importance of the region. Continuing our tour, we reach Ulubey Canyon, one of Turkey's most impressive natural formations. In this giant canyon, remarkable for its length and depth, we admire the view from the Glass Terrace and photograph this impressive natural wonder. We spend a short free time enjoying the wide panorama offered by the canyon.
At the end of the day, we depart for Denizli and have a free dinner break there. After this enjoyable and fulfilling day, we begin our return journey to Marmaris. We complete this tour, enriched with history, nature, and delicious food, with beautiful memories; and we say goodbye to you until we meet again on our next trip.
