On this day trip, we visit the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the world's oldest metropolises, where the foundations of democracy were laid, home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and the intersection of the most important trade routes in Anatolian history. Then, we explore Şirince, one of Turkey's most charming, aesthetically pleasing villages, reminiscent of a film set.

TOUR PROGRAM

We meet with our valued guests at 7:00 a.m. and depart for the Selçuk district of Izmir. After a free breakfast along the way, we arrive at the House of the Virgin Mary. After visiting the baptismal pool, the house believed to have been home to the Virgin Mary, the sacred water fountain, and the wishing wall, we proceed to the ancient city of Ephesus and begin our exploration of the Ephesus ruins. We'll see the Parliament Building, Domitian Square, the Roman Baths, the Celsius Library, the İsa Bey Mosque, Marble Street, the 24,000-capacity Grand Theater, and Arcadiane Street. With our guide's valuable commentary, we'll explore the ancient city's most important sights. After completing our visit to the ancient city of Ephesus, we'll have a free lunch break in Selçuk before heading to Şirince.

We'll begin our visit in Şirince, a town made famous in 2012 by Mayan apocalyptic scenarios and one of the region's most visited tourist destinations. Accompanied by the fragrant scent of thyme, we'll wander the streets reminiscent of a film set with our guide. We'll visit the Churches of St. Dimitri and St. John, and make our wishes at the wishing well. After completing our guided tour, you'll have free time to explore Şirince, renowned for its wines, cobblestone streets, and Greek houses. You can try the village's signature delicacy, elderberry syrup, and coffee lovers can enjoy their coffee on the sand.

After completing our tour, which we believe will significantly contribute to your historical and cultural heritage, we will return to Marmaris. We will drop you off at our pick-up points and bid you farewell, hoping to see you on other tours.
