This day trip is planned with a balanced pace, guided tour, and free time. While getting to know the historical sites up close, time is also allocated for our guests to take a break in cafes, visit local shops and feel the rhythm of the island.

TOUR PROGRAM

PORT MEETING – MARMARIS – RHODES CATAMARAN JOURNEY – ISLAND WALKING TOUR – NEW TOWN & OLD TOWN TOURS

We meet with our valued guests in the morning at Marmaris Cruise Port, the departure point for Marmaris-Rhodes ferry services. (For guests requesting transfer from Marmaris center to Cruise Port, a meeting will be provided at the designated point.) After our passport and exit procedures, depending on the ferry departure time, we board our catamaran and set off towards Rhodes. NOTE: Our day trips to Rhodes are mostly planned with departures via the 09:00/09:30 ferries and return via the 16:30 - 17:00 ferries. Accordingly, the meeting time at the port is around 08:00. The exact departure times will be finalized 3-4 days before the tour date and will be communicated to you. After approximately a one-hour sea journey, we arrive at Rhodes Port, complete our entry procedures, and meet our guide waiting for us on the island. For the rest of the day, we begin to explore Rhodes with a walking city tour accompanied by our guide's explanations. We start our tour at Mandraki Port, known as the site of the Colossus of Rhodes in ancient times and one of the symbolic points of the island. Around the port, we see the New Market, the Palace of Justice, structures from the Ottoman period, and important buildings that bear witness to the history of the city, learning about Rhodes' multifaceted past. Next, we continue our tour by viewing the Church of the Evangelist from the outside, one of the impressive examples of Gothic architecture.

Continuing our walk, we take a short photo break at the point where the Colossus of Rhodes, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is believed to have stood. At this point, our guide explains the historical significance of entering the island and the role of the harbor in the past.

Afterwards, we move on to the Old Town, one of the most impressive parts of Rhodes. During our walk inside the historical walls, our guide introduces us to the Street of the Knights, the Grand Master's Palace, the Archaeological Museum, mosques and madrasas from the Ottoman period, and important buildings reflecting different periods of Rhodes' history. We proceed along Street Socrates to Hippocrates Square and complete our tour of the Old Town.

Following the tour, our guests will have free time. During this time, guests can spend time in the Old Town streets, take a break in cafes, shop, or have lunch in the area as directed by our guide. At the designated meeting time, we will reconvene and proceed to Rhodes Port. After completing passport procedures, we will board our catamaran and begin our return journey to Marmaris. We will say goodbye to you at Marmaris Cruise Port, completing this enjoyable day trip and island experience with beautiful memories. NOTE: For guests requesting transfer to Marmaris Cruise Port, a transfer service will be provided for the outward journey. Guests requesting transfer must inform us in advance. **Our guide reserves the right to make changes to the program and itineraries, provided that all visits are completed, taking into account situations that may affect the course of the trip, such as weather and road conditions. **If physical conditions make it impossible for a visit to take place (road, weather, natural disaster, etc.), our agency cannot be held responsible for the cancellation of that visit. **Our company cannot be held responsible for changes in departure times due to the ferry company or cancellations due to weather conditions. In such cases, our company reserves the right to change the tour program, and our company cannot be held responsible for any extra costs that may arise due to these changes. **Greek authorities do not allow entry into the country if there is a TRNC entry/exit stamp in the passports. **Guests who have extended the validity period of their passports may experience problems at border crossings. If you are participating in the tour with an extended passport, you must indicate this during tour registration. Otherwise, our agency cannot be held responsible for any problems that may arise, such as not being able to enter the country. In such cases, no refunds can be issued.
