Thanks to the visa on arrival convenience, we depart from Marmaris and have the opportunity to stroll through the streets of Rhodes, breathe in the atmosphere of the Old Town, and witness the island’s daily life within the same day.

This day trip is planned with a balanced pace, guided sightseeing, and free time. While discovering historical sites up close, time is also allocated for guests who wish to take a break in cafés, explore local shops, and feel the rhythm of the island.

Even for a short while, this tour offers a great opportunity for those who want to experience the feeling of being in another country and discover the unique atmosphere of Rhodes.

TOUR PROGRAM

PORT MEETING – MARMARIS – RHODES CATAMARAN JOURNEY – WALKING ISLAND TOUR – NEW TOWN & OLD TOWN VISITS

We meet our valued guests in the morning at Marmaris Cruise Port, the departure point of Marmaris–Rhodes services. (For guests requesting a transfer from Marmaris center to Cruise Port, a meeting will be arranged at the designated point.) After passport and exit procedures, depending on the ferry departure time, we board our catamaran and depart for Rhodes.

NOTE: Our daily Rhodes tours are generally planned with morning ferries at 09:00 / 09:30 for departure and 16:30 - 17:00 ferries for return. Accordingly, the meeting time at the port is around 08:00. Exact departure times are finalized 3–4 days before the tour date and are communicated to you.

After approximately one hour of sea travel, we arrive at Rhodes Port, complete our entry procedures, and meet our guide waiting for us on the island. For the rest of the day, we start discovering Rhodes with a guided walking city tour accompanied by our guide’s explanations.

We begin our tour at Mandraki Harbor, one of the island’s symbolic points, known as the location where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood in ancient times. Around the harbor, we see the New Market, the Palace of Justice, structures from the Ottoman period, and important buildings that bear witness to the city’s history, while receiving information about Rhodes’ multi-layered past. We then continue our explanations by seeing the Evangelismos Church, one of the impressive examples of Gothic architecture, from the outside.

Continuing our walk, we take a short photo break at the point believed to be where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood, which was once among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At this point, our guide explains the historical significance of entering the island and the harbor’s role in the past.

Afterwards, we move on to the Old Town, one of the most impressive parts of Rhodes. During our walk inside the historical walls, sites such as the Street of the Knights, the Grand Master’s Palace, the Archaeological Museum, mosques and madrasahs from the Ottoman period, and important structures reflecting different periods of Rhodes are introduced with our guide’s narration. Walking along Socrates Street, we reach Hippocrates Square and complete our Old Town tour.

After the tour, free time is given to our guests. During this time, guests may spend time in the streets of the Old Town, take a break in cafés, shop, or enjoy lunch in this area with the guidance of our guide.

At the designated meeting time, we gather again and proceed to Rhodes Port. After completing passport procedures, we board our catamaran and begin our return journey to Marmaris. We bid farewell to you at Marmaris Cruise Port, completing a daily and enjoyable island experience with pleasant memories.

NOTE: For guests requesting a transfer to Marmaris Cruise Port, a transfer service will be provided for departure. Guests requesting transfer must inform us in advance. There will be no transfer to the city center on return.

NOTE: A SCHENGEN VISA or VISA ON ARRIVAL is required for the program. Guests holding a service passport (green passport) do not need a visa. Our agency provides consultancy services for guests who wish to obtain a visa. Please contact us for detailed information.

GENERAL TERMS

**Our guide has the right to make changes to the program and routes, provided that all visits are carried out, by considering conditions that may affect the course of the tour such as weather and road conditions.

**In cases where physical conditions make a visit impossible (road, weather conditions, natural disasters, etc.), our agency cannot be held responsible for the non-realization of that visit.

**Our company cannot be held responsible for schedule changes caused by the ferry company or cancellations due to weather conditions. In such cases, our company reserves the right to make changes to the tour program and cannot be held responsible for any additional costs that may arise due to these changes.

**Greek authorities do not allow entry into the country if there are TRNC entry/exit stamps in passports.

**Guests who have extended their passport validity through extension may experience issues at border crossings. If you are joining the tour with an extended passport, you must inform us during registration. Otherwise, our agency cannot be held responsible for problems such as denial of entry, and no refund will be made in such cases.

**Guests who will receive Visa on Arrival consultancy services from us are kindly requested to read the information text regarding Visa on Arrival available on our website https://www.koraltravel.com/Tour-Agreement. In case of visa on arrival rejection, our agency cannot be held responsible and no refund of the tour package price will be made.
