TOUR PROGRAM
DAY 1 (FRIDAY): MARMARIS – RHODES CATAMARAN JOURNEY – PANORAMIC ISLAND TOUR – NEW & OLD TOWN VISITS – HOTEL CHECK-IN – GREEK NIGHT
We meet our valued guests at 08:00 at Marmaris Cruise Port, the departure point of Marmaris–Rhodes ferries (for guests requesting transfer from Marmaris to the Cruise Port, we meet at Eşref Girginç Park at 07:45) and complete passport procedures. After passport control, we board our catamaran departing at 09:15 and set off towards Rhodes through the blue waters of the Aegean, with an approximately one-hour sea journey.
Upon arrival at Rhodes Port, we complete passport procedures and transfer to our waiting vehicle. Together with our guide, we begin discovering the island.
Our first stop is Mandraki Harbor, where the Colossus of Rhodes, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood. Here, we take a short journey into the island’s history. Then we see Murat Reis Mosque, pass along the coast of Elli Beach, famous for its turquoise sea, and reach the Aquarium Area.
On our route, we see Kritika (Cretan Quarter), where Turks exiled from Crete once settled, and then ascend to Monte Smith Hill, one of the best panoramic viewpoints. From here, the entire view of the New and Old Town lies beneath our feet. We take a short photo break at this breezy spot and capture the blue of the Aegean.
We continue our tour with the Ancient Acropolis of Rhodes, seeing the remains of the Temple of Apollo and the Ancient Stadium, then proceed to the Old Town. We get off our vehicle, enter within the historical walls, and begin our walking tour through narrow stone streets.
In this city where time seems to stand still, we closely explore landmarks such as the Street of the Knights, Ahmet Ağa Library, Ottoman Madrasa, Baths, Grand Master’s Palace, Archaeological Museum, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Clock Tower, Turkish School, Cem Sultan House, and Ibrahim Pasha Mosque with narration from our guide. Walking along Socrates Street, we take a short break at cafés shaded by centuries-old trees and then reach Fountain Square (Hippocrates Square).
At the end of the day, we complete our visits and head to our hotel. After checking into our rooms, we take a short rest. (RHODES ACCOMMODATION – 4* ISLAND CITY HOTEL)
In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Greek – Sirtaki Night organized with our guide.
Sirtaki Night Information: As it will be the beginning of the season, the venue, concept, and price of the night will be finalized in March and communicated to you.
DAY 2 (SATURDAY): HOTEL CHECK-OUT – LINDOS TOUR – RHODES – MARMARIS CATAMARAN JOURNEY
After breakfast at our hotel, we complete check-out procedures and begin our Lindos Tour included in the tour package.
Our first stop on the route is the Kallithea area, famous in the past for its thermal springs during the Italian rule. This coastline, notable for its natural beauty, also hosted some scenes of the movie “Zorba” starring Anthony Quinn. After a short visit here, we continue our journey.
Passing through Faliraki, the most famous hotel region of Rhodes, we arrive at Tsambika Monastery, a sacred place in Greece where people without children come to pray for a child. At this monastery located on a hill with a stunning view, we listen to the story of the area from our guide and take a photo break overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean.
As we approach Lindos, St. Paul’s Bay appears before us. We admire the enchanting view of this bay surrounded by the sea and then arrive at Lindos Square. With its whitewashed houses, stone-paved narrow streets, and poetic alleys decorated with slate stones, Lindos is the island’s most popular and characteristic town. Here, we give you free time.
Guests may swim at the beach, relax with a coffee at street cafés, or shop at local stores. Following our guide’s recommendations, we also have lunch in this area.
After free time, we return to Rhodes city center. After completing passport procedures, we board our ferry and return to Marmaris with a pleasant journey over the Aegean.
We bid farewell to you at Marmaris Cruise Port, hoping to meet again on another beautiful trip.
