TOUR PROGRAM
We will meet you, our valued guests, at Eşref Girginç Park at 7:00 AM and set off for Birgi, which is also on the Tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is an open-air museum with its historical and cultural riches. After a free breakfast break along the way, we arrive in Birgi. We will begin our visits in Birgi, a city with a deep history as the capital of the Aydınoğulları Principality. Birgi, a town with its unique Aegean Region architectural style, restored historical buildings, and sacred lands, is a popular destination for history and nature lovers. We'll see the most beautiful wooden Turkish houses and explore the historically valuable village of Birgi with our guide. We'll visit Çakırağa Mansion, one of the town's most famous mansions, and visit it if it's open. After Birgi, we'll head to Ödemiş. During our free time in Ödemiş, you can explore the famous Ödemiş market and enjoy a free lunch. Ödemiş cuisine, where traditions are still alive, is renowned for its Ödemiş Köfte (Ödemiş Meatballs), a signature dish of crispy bread. Herb gözleme (a type of flatbread), Ödemiş poğaça (a type of pastry), fried baked potato with crustaceans, Töngül pide (a type of flatbread), and the refreshing snow helva (a type of snow helva) are also staples of Ödemiş cuisine. After our free time in Ödemiş, we'll head to Tire. A short drive will take us to Tire, a town surrounded by historical buildings. After receiving information about our beautiful town from our guide, we visit the Tire City Museum. Located in the city center, the museum beautifully reflects the tranquil and beautiful Tire city, reflecting its historical development. The "Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop" is one of the most impressive sections. Accompanied by our guide, we tour the museum, where you can also see and chat with craftspeople practicing crafts that have either ceased to exist or are nearing extinction. We conclude our day with this visit. Feeling satisfied with a wonderful day, we begin our return to Marmaris. Upon arrival in Marmaris, we bid farewell at our meeting points, hoping to see you on future excursions.
