This program is designed for you to experience the simple yet characteristic spirit of Kos in a complete way with accommodation at the centrally located Kosta Palace 4★ Hotel, a guided walking city tour, a panoramic train tour and a traditional Greek night experience in Zia.

On this island where history, Ottoman traces and Italian architecture flow side by side; free exploration during the day, pleasant tables in the evenings and a comfortable program await you at every moment.

Now we cross to the opposite shore of the Aegean and begin a small but fulfilling Greek story together.

TOUR PROGRAM

DAY 1: MARMARIS – BODRUM TRANSFER – BODRUM – KOS FERRY – WALKING CITY TOUR – ZIA VILLAGE & GREEK NIGHT

We meet at 05:30 in the morning at Marmaris Eşref Girginç Park and depart towards Bodrum. After our journey we arrive at Bodrum Ferry Port and complete ticketing and passport procedures.

At 09:15 we cross to the opposite side of the Aegean with our Bodrum – Kos ferry. After approximately one hour of sea travel we arrive at Kos Port.

After customs and passport procedures we meet our agency representative who welcomes us. Since our hotel Kosta Palace 4★ is within walking distance of the port, we reach the hotel with a short walk without waiting for a transfer. After leaving our luggage in the storage room we begin the first discovery of our program.

GUIDED WALKING KOS CITY TOUR

We step into the heart of Kos and discover its historical layers by walking.

• We stop under the Tree of Hippocrates. In the shade of this monumental tree, where Hippocrates—considered the father of medicine—is believed to have taught, we feel the cultural spirit of the island.

• At the Port Square we observe the daily life of Kos. We see the elegant architecture of Gazi Hasan Pasha Mosque. Right across from it we listen to the traces of the Roman and Hellenistic periods at the Ancient Agora.

• Passing through Kos Town Museum Square and the New Agora we extend our journey to the recent history of the island.

• We take a short photo break in the square where Defterdar Mosque is located.

During this walk we listen to a multi-layered historical narration extending from ancient times to the Ottoman period, from Italian architecture to modern island life. We get to know the character of Kos closely and discover its small but rich past step by step.After the city tour we give you free time.

Guests who wish can take a coffee break around the harbor, while others can enjoy lunch at local tavernas. At the specified time we return to our hotel and check into our rooms.

EVENING | ZIA VILLAGE & GREEK NIGHT (INCLUDED)

In the evening at the time indicated by our guide we depart from our hotel and head towards Zia Village, one of the most special spots of Kos. This traditional village built on the slope of the mountain hosts one of the most impressive views of Kos.

First we see the historic church of the village, then take a short walk through its cobblestone streets. We take photo breaks accompanied by handicraft shops, small boutiques and views overlooking the Aegean.

At sunset the sky turns into golden and orange tones while the Kos valley and the Aegean Sea stretch beneath our feet. This becomes one of the most unforgettable moments of the tour.

Afterwards we move to Fantasia Restaurant where our Greek night organization will take place.In this special restaurant overlooking the Aegean Sea and small islands:

• Traditional Greek appetizers - Local flavors - Live music - Professional Greek dance shows accompany our enjoyable evening. Red / white wine and soft drinks are also served unlimited.

As the rhythm of Sirtaki rises the entertainment increases and the Aegean evening turns into a true Greek atmosphere. A sincere, energetic and unforgettable night awaits us.

At the end of the program we return to our hotel and stay overnight at Kosta Palace Hotel.

DAY 2 RED / BLUE TRAIN TOUR – FREE TIME – KOS–BODRUM FERRY – BODRUM–MARMARIS TRANSFER

After a pleasant breakfast we complete our hotel check-out procedures and leave our luggage in the storage room.

At the time previously announced we meet our agency representative in the lobby and take a short walk to the center to join one of the most enjoyable discoveries of Kos: the Red / Blue Train Tour.

During the train tour we explore the historical texture of Kos along a panoramic route. This enjoyable tour by train also allows us to see some points that cannot be reached on foot. The narrow streets of Kos, its stone buildings and the city atmosphere intertwined with the sea are observed from a different perspective. It becomes a comfortable, entertaining and photo-filled experience.

After the train tour we give you free time. Today the rhythm of the program is completely yours. Guests who wish can:

-Walk along the harbor

-Take a coffee break at seaside cafés

-Shop at local stores

-Enjoy lunch with seafood and Greek appetizers

It becomes a great opportunity to feel the simple yet characteristic island spirit of Kos one last time.

At the specified time we meet our agency representative in the hotel lobby, collect our luggage and walk to Kos Port which is within walking distance.

We board our 18:00 departure Kos–Bodrum ferry. After passport and customs procedures our return journey to the opposite shore of the Aegean begins.

After arriving in Bodrum we transfer to our waiting vehicle and depart towards Marmaris. We drop you off at the points where we picked you up and say goodbye until we meet again on another Koral Tourism journey.

NOTE: SCHENGEN VISA or DOOR VISA is required for this program. Guests holding service passports (green passports) do not need to obtain a visa. Our company also provides ‘Visa Application Service’. You can contact us for detailed information.

GENERAL INFORMATION

**Our guide has the right to make changes in the program and routes considering conditions that may affect the course of the trip such as weather and road conditions, provided that all visits are carried out.

**Persons under the age of 18 who wish to travel abroad must have a notarized consent letter: if traveling only with the mother, consent from the father; if traveling only with the father, consent from the mother; if traveling with someone other than the parents or alone, consent from both parents. If the child’s custody belongs to a legal representative, a notarized consent letter approved by official authorities from the legal representative is required.

**If physical conditions make a visit impossible (road conditions, weather, natural disasters, etc.), our agency cannot be held responsible for the cancellation of that visit.

**Our company cannot be held responsible for schedule changes caused by the ferry company or cancellations and additional costs due to weather conditions. In such cases our company reserves the right to make changes to the tour program.

**Greek authorities do not allow entry into the country if there is a TRNC entry/exit stamp in the passport. In such a case the responsibility belongs to the passenger.

**Passengers whose passports have less than 90 days validity must make inquiries before reservation.

**Guests who extend their passport validity by extension may experience problems at border gates. If you join the tour with an extended passport you must indicate this during tour registration. Otherwise our agency cannot be held responsible for possible problems such as being denied entry into the country. In such cases no refund will be made.

The consulate’s refusal or rejection of a visa is not the responsibility of Koral Tourism.
